Our Story
4M Pools was founded by Charlie Schindler, a lifelong Maryland resident with more than 10 years of experience in the pool industry. Charlie’s connection to the water began early — swimming competitively since age four and continuing through college — and turned into a lifelong career. He started working with pools as a lifeguard at 16 and later gained deep technical knowledge while earning his Mechanical Engineering degree from Widener University.
After completing his education, Charlie set out to bring expert pool care to his community — launching 4M Pools with a focus on quality workmanship, honest communication, and attention to detail that larger companies often miss. Today, we proudly serve homeowners throughout Anne Arundel County, including Annapolis, Severna Park, Arnold, Pasadena, Millersville, Crofton, and Gambrills.
